Meet the People Behind Magic
Magic Plumbing ATX is an Austin-based plumbing and mechanical team serving homeowners, businesses, and commercial facilities across Central Texas. We handle everything from everyday service calls to complex mechanical projects, but we still believe the people doing the work matter just as much as the work itself.
We’re growing, but we want Magic to stay personal. The people you see here are the same people answering the phone, walking projects, coordinating jobs, and showing up on site.
Jonathan Potts
Co-Owner/Master Plumber
Jonathan’s the master when it comes to tough plumbing problems, and he takes pride in doing things right the first time. Outside of work, he’ll happily admit his biggest hobby is eating way too much good food & riding his Harley-Davidson.
Tim Kallas
Co-Owner
Tim keeps the business running smooth, from hiring to making sure every customer is cared for. When he’s not managing jobs, he’s all about fitness and health, whether it’s hitting the gym or cooking delicious food.
Samantha Bouchot
Operations
Sam makes sure the team has what they need and that no detail slips through the cracks. She is our jack-of-all-trades. Off the clock, she’s either driving her fast car or hanging out with cute animals.
Peyton Tanaka
Commercial & Growth
I manage our commercial relationships & help grow the business across sales, marketing, and operations. Outside of work, I'm usually at the gym, outside with friends, or playing on my gaming pc. Texas Exes forever.
Evan Burt
Superintendent
Our project wrangler, Evan, manages our commercial projects start to finish, keeping every trade on track. You’ll find him at a pool table or spending time with the love of his life!
Diego Lopez
Technician
A veteran of the trades with decades of experience, Diego can handle any commercial job that comes his way. When he’s not on-site, he’s all about family time with his two boys and grilling BBQ.
Valerie Mendoza
Operations
Valerie is in charge of dispatch and front desk. When you call Magic, she is the one taking care of you. In her freetime, she likes to walk in the park and spend time at the bookstore.
Bubba
Snack Patrol Manager
Bubba is our other furry teammate, known for his talent as a “floor food picker-upper.” He keeps the shop crumb-free and the crew smiling. In his free time he chases squirrels and barks at nothing.
David Steele
Technician
David was born and raised in Austin! Not only can he plumb, but he will definitely make you laugh. In his downtime, he is walking his dog, Bane, and spending time with his wife!
Aaron Ferrall
Technician
Aaron used to be a Marine for nearly a decade and it shows in his work. He’s known for getting things done right the first time. Off the clock, you’ll catch him unwinding at home with his wife and hanging out with his grandchildren!
Ambrose "AD" Patton
Technician
AD has extensive experience working for household name plumbing companies, tackling jobs of all sizes. When he's not working, he's on his way to getting his black belt in jiu-jitsu or spending time with his girlfriend!
Angel Ramirez
Technician
Angel always brings a can-do attitude and pride to every project. He's always working hard and never giving up on the task at hand. Off the clock, he’s happiest spending time with his girlfriend.

Carter was born & raised in Texas. He previously did commercial electric work in Oklahoma, adding versatility to the team. In his free time, he enjoys hanging out with the boys.

We spend a lot of time together—on jobs, in the shop, solving problems, and occasionally giving each other a hard time. That camaraderie matters because plumbing and mechanical work is a team effort.
When something gets complicated, our technicians, project team, and office staff communicate and work through it together. Customers benefit from that same culture: people who answer the phone, follow through, and care about getting the job handled correctly.
Built on Training & Collaboration
Our plumbers and HVAC technicians regularly get together to review jobs, troubleshoot unusual problems, share what worked in the field, and stay current on equipment and installation methods.
That matters because no technician has seen everything. When one person runs into something difficult, they have an entire team behind them to help work through it.
We Solve Problems Together
Not every job goes exactly according to plan. Existing conditions change, equipment fails, drawings don’t always match the field, and unexpected problems happen. What matters is how the team responds.
